  About Peninsula Outfitters
Peninsula Outfitters was founded because of Bill Drewry's passion for fly fishing. The shop is supported by industry leaders with names like Sage, Redington, Simms, Ross and Tibor. Peninsula Outfitters is based on the fundamental idea that fly fishing is a great way to relax, respect and experience the beauty of the great outdoors. Our primary goal is to offer unsurpassed customer service. Whether it is assisting with the perfect fly rod for you or teaching you how to use it, we will be there for you. We promise to pass on as much information about the sport and the resource as possible to all of you, our friends, neighbors, fellow and aspiring fly fishers.

Fly fishing is a diverse sport that offers something for everyone. There are dozens of wonderful year round fisheries in the Puget Sound and Olympic Peninsula regions and thousands more in the USA and abroad. Whether you plan to fish across the county or around the corner, having the right knowledge and equipment will make your experience unforgettable. At Peninsula Outfitters, we strive to educate you, and to give you the best, most up-to-date equipment and information possible. Come in, or keep up with us on this Web site. We are constantly updating information about the latest and greatest fly fishing products, and many of Washington and the world's finest fisheries.

  Bill Drewry
Bill's passion for fly fishing led to the opening of Peninsula Outfitters. After many years running other retail endeavors, Bill is excited about making Peninsula Outfitters one of the country's premier fly shops. He enjoys taking his fly rod with him anywhere there is water, but particularly loves chasing saltwater game fish around the world.

Ted Teather
Ted is our "retired guy". After teaching for thirty-seven years at the University of Washington, his avocation now works for all of us at Peninsula Outfitters. Ted brings over fifty years of fly fishing experience to his activities at our shop. We refer to him as the "Professor" as he instructs our classes in casting, beginning and advanced fly tying and beach fishing. Ted particularly loves teaching our sport to newcomers. He is the primary instructor for our one day beginners' fly fishing clinic at Trophy Lakes Golf and Casting Club. He also guides on local beaches and the Yakima River. Last year Ted fished in Oregon, Montana, Alberta, British Columbia, Alaska, and in our home state. He brings a wealth of experience and is an excellent instructor.

Gus Julian
Gus has grown up with a fly rod in his hand. His passion for fly fishing is contagious. When he is not guiding one of the many Steelhead rivers in the state, he is diving for Ling Cod, tying a cool new fly pattern or chasing "Urban Tarpon" in Florida. Gus is a joy to interact with either in the shop or on the water.
